Frequently asked questions

What exactly does the deal finder from Knallerfalke do?

Our software searches the Internet around the clock for very good offers and price errors. Many different factors are included in the calculation. The software is designed to find reselling products that are usually very suitable for resale. If the algorithm was able to determine a product, you will immediately receive a push notification via our Knallerfalke app. You can then access the last 5 identified offers directly in the app or on our offers page.

How should I best use the Deal Finder?

It is especially important to be reasonably fast, as many deals are only available for a limited time. Often, the better the deal, the faster it will be gone. However, it can also happen that good deals are available for longer. So it’s best to turn on push notifications via our app so that you’ll be notified immediately.

We also recommend that you check the listings on eBay. For example, you can look at the “ended offers” of the corresponding item on eBay. This is a good indication to check how high the resale value is. In general, there is no universal formula here. We have had items that were not available on eBay – but we were able to sell them at good prices via classifieds. Furthermore, it is important to check the profitability of the products with e.g. a reselling Excel spreadsheet in order to generate enough profit.

Approximately how many deals are identified per day?

There is basically no limit. Mostly there are between 2 and 5 deals per day that are determined. There are occasionally days when no deal is determined.

What is the difference between Knallerfalke Deal Finder and normal bargain platforms?

The platforms we know are primarily aimed at consumers. Although some of the products on these platforms are suitable for reselling, this is only a very small proportion. Most of the discounts presented there are far from sufficient to resell the products at a profit.

We, on the other hand, include various factors in the calculations to distinguish “good” offers from “bad” offers. As a result, we have a much higher rate of “good” offers. So you don’t have to look through 100 deals to find one that is suitable for reselling and thus save time. Reselling electronics items is especially popular among resellers, and our deal finder searches for just such products, among others.

Is every offer identified by Knallerfalke a super offer?

No! It is a software, not every offer is a “hit”. You will get many deals that are rather average. We also cannot exclude complete errors. The whole thing can be explained quite well with the Pareto principle: You will probably make 20% of the offers, 80% of the profit. Or in other words: If after some average offers comes an extremely good one, you will be able to make a lot of profit.
